Accounting Faculty / Computerized Accounting Trainer

Job description:
- We are looking for an experienced and passionate Accounting Faculty / Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong practical and theoretical knowledge of accounting principles and must be proficient in various computerized accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver interactive classroom / lab training sessions on manual and computerized accounting.
- Train students in software including MS Office, Tally Prime, Peachtree (Sage 50), QuickBooks, and Zoho Books.
- Guide students through practical bookkeeping, GST filing, TDS, and finalization of accounts.
- Conduct regular assessments, mock tests, and practical evaluations.
- Clarify student doubts and help them gain industry-ready practical skills.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Finance (or equivalent accounting degree).
- Software Proficiency: In-depth working knowledge of Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and Peachtree (Sage 50).
- Experience: 0–2+ years (Freshers with strong software command and teaching flair can also apply).
- Communication: Good communication and presentation skills (Malayalam & English).
Technical Skills:
- Computerized Accounting Software: Hands-on mastery and ability to teach:
- Tally Prime / Tally.ERP 9
- Peachtree (Sage 50)
- QuickBooks
- Zoho Books
- Practical Taxation & Compliance:
- GST invoicing, calculation, return preparation, and reconciliation.
- Practical concepts of TDS, PF, and ESI calculations.
- Spreadsheet & Reporting: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial formulas) and general MS Office tools.
- Practical Bookkeeping: Hands-on ability to demonstrate bank reconciliation statements (BRS), journal entries, voucher entries, and finalization of accounts.
Soft Skills
- Instructional & Presentation Skills: Ability to break down complex accounting entries and concepts into clear, easy-to-understand explanations for students.
- Effective Communication: Fluency in Malayalam and English to conduct lectures, explain software operations, and address student queries effectively.
- Patience & Mentorship: Strong interpersonal demeanor to guide students of varying learning paces and provide constructive feedback on lab exercises.
- Time & Batch Management: Capacity to adhere to structured syllabus timelines, conduct timely mock tests/assessments, and manage classroom discipline.
- Continuous Learning: Enthusiasm to stay updated with the latest updates in accounting software versions and statutory tax changes.
Pay:
- ₹ 12,000 - ₹ 18,000 per month
