- Getting Started with AutoCAD– Interface (Application Menu, Drawing Area, Quick Access, Toolbar, Crosshairs, Info Center, Command Window, Title Bar, Status bar and Ribbon)
- AutoCAD’s Cartesian Workspace. Opening an Existing Drawing File. Viewing Your Work. Saving Your Work.
- Basic Geometric Shapes– Point, Point style, Line (draw using ORTHO Mode), Circle (center radius and center diameter), Erase, Undo, and Redo. Function Keys
- View Command– Regen, Pan, Zoom
- Selection Methods- Single, Window, Crossing, All
- Data Entry Methods– Cartition & Polar (Absolute, Relative)
- Use of OSNAP– End, Mid, Center, Intersection and near. OSNAP override (using Shift + Right click)
- Setting Up of Drafting Settings
- Direct Entry Method- Polar Tracking, Object Snap Tracking
